An AAP nominee, Karamjit Anmol, is a renowned actor-singer known for his close association with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, with whom he campaigned during the 2022 Assembly elections. Both Karamjit Anmol and Bhagwant Mann have a political comedy background before entering politics. In a recent video, Mandy Takhar, along with another Punjabi actor, Kartar Cheema, was observed campaigning for Karamjit Anmol.
