Sushant Singh Rajput's father files FIR against the late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for abetment of suicide

In a major development in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, the late actor’s father has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five other for abetment of suicide and various other charges. According to sources, Rhea Chakraborty, who is Sushant’s alleged girlfriend, used Sushant’s credit cards on a Europe tour, she sacked one of his bodyguards, and has a stake in his company.

Following the FIR, a four-member team was sent from Bihar to Mumbai to discuss Sushant’s case with Mumbai Police. Not only this, Bihar Police have also asked for women constables from Mumbai police to cooperate in the investigation.

As per the statement issued by Patna Central Zone IG Sanjay Singh, "The FIR has been registered against Rhea Chakraborty under various sections, including abetment of suicide, on the complaint filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's father." The FIR was filed in Rajendra Nagar police station in Patna. Rhea and five other individuals have been booked under IPC Section 306 (Abetment of suicide), Sec 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), Sec 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), Sec 380 (Theft in dwelling house), Sec 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust), and Sec 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).

It is interesting to note that the FIR has come weeks after Rhea Chakroborty called for a CBI investigation into Sushant’s death. The latter tagged Union Home Minister Amit Shah in it too.
