Sony Pictures Officially Announce Biopic On Madhubala’s Life

After multiple speculations and rumours, the official biopic to be made on Madhubala’s life has been announced. Producers Sony Pictures International Productions and Brewing Thoughts Pvt. Ltd made the announcement. Madhubala’s siblings Madhur Brij Bhushan and Arvind Kumar Malviya will co-produce the film under the banner of Madhubala Ventures.

Announcing the much-awaited project, Sony Pictures captioned the post as, “Exciting News! We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming film honouring the legendary Madhubala, the epitome of grace and talent. Get ready to delve into the timeless charm and captivating story of one of Bollywood’s most iconic stars. Stay tuned for updates.”

Reportedly, the film’s makers have not finalized any actress for the magnanimous role. However, Jasmeet K Reen will be directing the project who is known for excellently helming Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma’s Darlings.

Coming to Madhubala, she is counted among the finest actresses of Indian Cinema. In her career span of almost two decades, she worked in almost 60 films and garnered appreciation for her extra ordinary acting skills, expressions and beauty.
