Music is known to transcend barriers; it is known to give voice to emotions. However, it can also be used as a tool to send a message across. Just like Punjabi singer Shubh has done.
The song from his latest EP, Leo titled King Shit has created uproar among the listeners. The song’s bold and unapologetic lyrics are aimed at Bollywood singer Kangana Ranaut. In the track King Shit, Shubh has accused the actor of chasing fame, and calling her a puppet of the government.
This is the start of a new controversy between Kangana Ranaut and Shubh. This is not the first time that any Punjabi singer has gotten entangled with an online feud with the actor. During the farmer protests in Punjabi, Kangana had targeted all the Punjabi singers calling them anti- nationals. She had taken a special liking for singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh calling him Karan Johar’s pet and much more.
And now with lyrics like, “Hun bhaldi aa fame teri movie vi nai chaldi,” Shubh has opened a new controversy.
