Internationally renowned Diljit Dosanjh made his debut appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Ahead of the show, Jimmy and Diljit shared a joint post on Instagram.

The video commenced with Jimmy Fallon and Diljit exchanging hugs and greetings. The caption on the clip read, "Learning how to speak Punjabi with Diljit Dosanjh." Initially, Diljit said, "Punjabi agaye oye," which Jimmy echoed.

Diljit Dosanjh then greeted with folded hands, saying, "Sat Sri Akal," to which Jimmy responded perfectly, prompting Diljit to exclaim, "Wow." For the show, Diljit will be attired in a traditional ensemble comprising a white kurta pyjama, matching turban, and a black half jacket. Reacting to this, Priyanka Chopra commented, "It’s the Oye (hey) for me," while Guneet Monga simply said, "Punjabi."
