Release of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency Postponed Again Due To Election Campaigns in India

Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Emergency grabbed everyone’s attention when the first poster of the film was released. Various fans were eagerly waiting for the film’s release, however, the audience will have to wait a bit longer now as the release date of the film has been postponed again.

Emergency, which was earlier scheduled to hit the silver screens on 14 June, 2024 has been pushed as revealed by an official statement by production Manikarnika Films. For now, the updated release date of the film has not been announced yet.

Manikarnika Films’s announced the news with a social media post that stated, “Our hearts are filled with love filled with love pouring in for our queen Kangana Ranaut. As she prioritises her duty to the nation and her commitment to serve the country, the release date of our much awaited film 'Emergency' has been postponed. We promise to update you soon with a new release date. Thank you for your continued support.”

In Emergency, Kangana will be seen portraying the role of former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Apart from playing the lead role in the biographical drama, Kangana has also penned the story for the film and directed it.

Actor like Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, late Satish Kaushik and more will also be seen in this awaited project in various pivotal roles.
