Punjabi film director Anurag Singh to direct Varun Dhawan

It is definitely a proud moment for Punjabi entertainment industry as Jatt & Juliet and Punjab 1984 fame director, Anuarg Singh, will now be directing Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan in the Sajid Nadiadwala production, titled Sanki.

Anurag Singh’s debut directorial film Kesari starring Akshay Kumar was one of the biggest hits of 2019.

Sanki is written by Rajat Arora and it is an adaptation of a successful South film.

Varun Dhawan will be seen in upcoming film Jug Jug Jiyo, co-starring Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.

The film goes on floors in November and will be filmed in Chandigarh, Mumbai and a foreign location.
