At the illustrious IIFA 2024 event in Abu Dhabi, renowned filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra captivated audiences with a thrilling announcement: his upcoming film, Zero Se Restart, which serves as a prequel to the critically acclaimed hit 12th Fail. Scheduled for release on December 13, this much-anticipated project will reunite the talented cast, featuring Vikrant Massey, who brilliantly portrayed the lead in 12th Fail.

The original film, adapted from Anurag Pathak's compelling narrative, chronicles the inspiring journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma a man who ascended from the depths of poverty to become an esteemed IPS officer. 12th Fail received accolades for its poignant depiction of Sharma's relentless determination and the significant support provided by his wife, Shraddha Joshi, who played a crucial role in his success. Medha Shankar is set to reprise her role alongside Massey.
