Punjabi singer Karan Aujla, currently on his It’s All A Dream tour, has found himself embroiled in controversy . A formal complaint has been filed against him, accusing the singer of promoting alcohol and other harmful content through his music.
The complaint, lodged by Professor Panditrao Dharnevar, claims that Karan Aujla’s songs glorify substances like alcohol and drugs, along with promoting violence. In his grievance, Dharnevar specifically asked that Aujla refrain from performing certain tracks, including Chitta Kurta, Adhia, Few Days, Alcohol 2, Gangsta, and Bandook, during his upcoming shows.
This is not the first time Dharnevar has taken issue with Punjabi artists promoting controversial content in their music. Previously, he had filed a similar complaint against global icon Diljit Dosanjh, urging him to avoid singing such songs during his live performances.
