Early this month, Superstar Rajinikanth had announced his entry in politics through a tweet.
But now, he has decided to step back from this decision due to his health condition.
The 69 -year-old actor released an official press release via Twitter and wrote, ''I have decided not to enter politics. I request all my fans & people of Tamil Nadu to accept my decision.
I will serve people in whatever ways I can without entering electoral politics."
Rajinikanth was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad due to fluctuation in his blood pressure.
