After the Supreme court passed a verdict for CBi inquiry on Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, the investigation has been going on full swing.
After days of probing the case, three officers who are a part of the CBI team shared with the media that they haven’t found any proof of the actor being murdered.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. A month after his demise, the family of the actor filed an FIR against actress Rhea Chakraborty for abetment of suicide.
Reportedly, the CBI is focusing on the suicide angle and examining if a case can be made for abetment of suicide.
After taking over the case from the Mumbai Police, the CBI went through all the evidence collected. They have also interrogated key suspects including Rhea Chakraborty, Siddarth Pithani, Neerja Singh and Showik Chakraborty.
As per reports, Rhea has been interrogated for nearly a total of 35 hours till date by the CBI. Although, the CBI is focusing on the suicide angle, it is not officially closing the case yet.
