Veteran actor Pradeep Rawat, best known for portraying Ashwatthama in the iconic television series Mahabharat, was cremated on Wednesday in Goregaon, Mumbai, near Best Colony. Family members, friends and several personalities from the film industry gathered to pay their final respects.
The actor's son, Vikramaditya, was overcome with emotion as he bid farewell to his father during the last rites.
Rawat, who also appeared in acclaimed films such as Lagaan and Ghajini, passed away on Tuesday evening at the age of 74. His death marks the end of a distinguished career spanning television and cinema.
Among those who attended the funeral were actor Aamir Khan and veteran actor Raza Murad. Salman Khan also paid tribute by sharing an old photograph with Pradeep Rawat on social media, remembering the late actor with heartfelt words.
