Baani Sandhu opens up about her boundaries in the Punjabi Entertainment Industry

Punjabi singer and actress Baani Sandhu, who stars alongside Dev Kharoud in the upcoming film Dakuaan Da Munda 3, recently spoke to Connect Media Network about the personal code she follows within the Punjabi entertainment industry.

Known for her strong presence and bold persona, Baani shared that she maintains clear boundaries when it comes to her professional and personal interactions. “I don’t like mingling too much with people from the industry,” she admitted. “I don’t attend parties or hangouts. I’ve drawn a firm line for myself, and I expect others to respect it.”

Addressing how people often misinterpret her reserved nature, she said, “Some call me rude or arrogant because I keep to myself but that’s fine. I believe in working with ethics, and I want that to be respected by everyone I associate with.”

During the conversation, Baani also reflected on watching an emotional episode featuring fellow Punjabi artist Sunanda Sharma, which prompted her to think deeply about the realities of the industry. “It made me question who to trust and who not to,” she said, hinting at the valuable but harsh lessons she’s learned over time.
