After impressing the masses with her brilliant performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia Bhatt is now all set for her second collaboration with renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Yes, the actress will be seen playing the female lead in Bhansali’s upcoming project ‘Love And War’ which reportedly is going to be a homage to Raj Kapoor’s all-time blockbuster hit film ‘Sangam’.

A latest update about the film is now floating on the internet which suggests Alia will be seen playing the role of a Jazz singer in the film. As per the report in Peepingmoon, a source close to the development stated, “While the character details of the male leads are kept under wraps, Alia will be seen taking the mic to portray a jazz artist, and she’s extremely excited to play such a character after crooning songs in her movies, Highway and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.”

It is reported that ‘Love And War’ will feature Alia’s most complex character in her career. However, talking about the male leads, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will be featured in the film which also hints at the film being a love triangle.

For now, all the details about the film’s theme and plot are kept under wraps, but it is being speculated that Love And War will be a love story with a backdrop of war.
