Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday. Dosanjh described the meeting as a great start to 2025 and a memorable one. PM Modi praised Diljit's hard work and contribution to the entertainment industry.
The Prime Minister remarked that when a youth from a village in India rises to prominence, both within the country and internationally, through dedication and hard work, it fills him with pride. He also added that Diljit's name, given by his family, truly resonates as he is winning the hearts of people.
On the same occasion, Diljit shared his thoughts, expressing that while India’s greatness had been heard since childhood, it was only when he experienced the country's diversity up close that he realized its greatness is not just in words, but in reality.
