It is being said that popular Bollywood film Disco Dancer which starred Mithun Chakraborty will now be made into a play. This musical will be produced by music director duo Salim-Sulaiman, who will be collaborating with Sa Re Ga Ma on it. Music director-turned-producer Salim Merchant confirmed the development. He informed that due to the lockdown, rehearsals are on hold. "Once everything opens up and the government gives us permission we will restart work on it," he added. The Mithun Chakraborty-starrer 1982 film tells the story of a street dancer's transition to a disco dancer.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez will be making her Hollywood debut with an anthology titled Women's Stories. The anthology will consist of six stories directed by six female directors from across the globe and features an all-female star cast. Jaqueline will be starring in Leena Yadav's directorial Sharing A Ride, alongside transgender model Anjali Lama.
