Amitabh Bachchan becomes first Indian to be presented with FIAF award
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be conferred with the prestigious 2021 FIAF Award by the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF), the worldwide organization of film archives and museums from across the world, at a virtual showcase scheduled to take place on March 19, 2021. Amitabh Bachchan’s name was nominated by the FIAF affiliate Film Heritage Foundation, a not-for-profit organization founded by filmmaker and archivist Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, dedicated to the preservation, restoration, documentation, exhibition, and study of India’s film heritage.

The Family Man 2 is not getting shelved
A news article on popular web series The Family Man 2 shocked fans. As per this article, Amazon Prime has cancelled the season 2 of The Family Man. Thankfully, in less than two hours after this news was published, director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, aka Raj and DK, tweeted, in reply to this news, with just two letters – ‘BS’ (bullsh*t). The duo literally slammed this news article.
A source from the show says, “What Raj and DK tweeted is right. There’s no way the season is getting cancelled. We were quite shocked when this report came in. There’s no truth to it at all.”

Paresh Rawal takes first dose of Covid -19 vaccination
The second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive is in full swing in India. Recently, actor Paresh Rawal took to Twitter to share a picture of himself flashing the victory sign after he took his first dose of COVID-19 vaccination. Sharing the picture, he wrote, "V for vaccines. ! Thanks to All the Doctors and Nurses and the front line Health care workers and The Scientists." He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the drive.
The vaccine is eligible for any Indian citizen aged above 60 and people who are aged above 45 and have comorbidities.

Sidhu Moosewala’s act III, one more Punjabi film
In addition to Yes I am Student and soon-to-be rolled out Punjabi film Gunah, singer Sidhu Moosewala is all set to act in his third Punjabi film to be directed by Tarnvir Singh Jagpal. Tarnvir is the director of Sidhu’s other two films too.
A source said that this is going to be Sidhu’s solo film wherein he plays the main protagonist. The storyline of the film is almost final but the crew is yet to decide on the female lead and the other starcast. “Also, this project is going to be pretty different from the other two films,” added the source.

Alia Bhatt goes under home quarantine
Actor Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali have both been tested Covid positive. Following this, Alia Bhatt who has been closely working with the two on Brahmastra and Gangubai Kathiawadi respectively opted for a Covid-19 test as well. Though Alia tested negative, the actress has decided to undergo home quarantine.
As per a source, Alia and Ranbir have been working on Brahmastra, and Alia does not want to take not any chance even though her test report is negative.

Nawazuddin’s wife takes back divorce notice
After months of a public divorce battle, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife, Aaliya has taken back her divorce notice. Aaliya had accused the actor and his family of physical and emotional stress.
