Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, on Friday, dropped a hint that the release date of the highly anticipated film will be unveiled soon. Alongside the emotional note, Ayan shared a BTS picture of the film's leading hero Ranbir Kapoor. In the image, Ranbir can be seen sporting a rugged look while he seems to have a superpower in his hand. One can also see a burning flame in the background. 'Brahmastra', which has been envisioned as a trilogy, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy.

Sony Pictures released the first look teaser and title of the upcoming animated superhero film 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'. The upcoming movie is the sequel to 2018's Oscar-winning animated superhero film 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' and continues the story of the Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) version of Spider-Man. As per Deadline, the title 'Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse' (Part One), unveiled at the Brazil Comic-Con , implies the film will serve as the first installation of a two-part sequel. The first part is scheduled to release in theatres on October 7, 2022.

Content streaming platform Netflix said it is slashing its monthly subscription rates by up to 60 per cent in India, as it looks to woo viewers amid growing competition in the OTT space in the country. Under the new rates that roll out from Tuesday, Netflix's Mobile will now be available at Rs 149 a month (from Rs 199 earlier), while the Basic plan will be priced at Rs 199 a month, instead of Rs 499. The Standard plan will be charged at Rs 499 per month, while Premium will be available at Rs 649 a month.

A documentary about rapper-songwriter Travis Scott's deadly Astroworld concert in Houston has been taken down by Hulu over "confusion" whether the show was created by the streaming platform. Hulu spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter, "This was an investigative local news special from ABC13/KTRK-TV in Houston that originally aired on November 20th. This was not a Hulu documentary and has since been removed to avoid confusion."

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan said she has tested positive for Covid-19, after sources in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said both she and her actor-friend Amrita Arora had contracted the virus. Kareena confirmed her diagnosis on Instagram, adding, “I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested,” she said in a statement.

Actor Park Hae-soo of 'Squid Game' fame is set to star in the Korean adaptation of the popular Spanish series 'Money Heist (La Casa de Papel)', Netflix announced on Tuesday. According to Variety, Park is set to play Andres 'Berlin' de Fonollosa, one of the drama's main characters. The news of his casting hits as the original series approaches the conclusion of its five-year run on December 3, and as the streamer revealed that Berlin is set to appear in an origin story spin-off scheduled for 2023.
