With no release date announcement in place yet, this biographical drama film's right post-release has been sold to a streaming giant. As per a report, the much-awaited Akshay Kumar starrer film Sooryavanshi, is all set to release on April 2, 2021. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty. Besides Akshay Kumar, Sooryavanshi also stars Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Jaaved Jaaferi and Sikandar Kher. The film is a part of the cop universe, comprising Singham (essayed by Ajay Devgn) and Simmba (essayed by Ranveer Singh). Both these actors also have special appearances in the film as well. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has detained assistant director Rishikesh Pawar who is reportedly a close friend of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. A major fire broke out on Tuesday in the film studio at Goregaon, Mumbai on the sets of Om Raut directorial Adipurush. According to reports, fire officials have said that the fire broke out at 4:15 pm in the studio. As of now, no casualties have been reported. The fire officials have declared it as level 2 fire.Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar of T-Series & Om Raut, Prasad Sutar & Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles and is slated for August 11, 2022 release.
