The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on Wednesday imposed a penalty of Rs 3 lakh on Hungama 2 actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra, her businessman husband Raj Kundra alias Ripu Sudan Kundra and their company Viaan Industries for violation of its Insider Trading rules. As per the SEBI order, the fine has been imposed on Kundra, Shetty and their company for a delay of three-year in the mandatory disclosure to stock exchanges. The market regulator said the penalty has to be paid jointly and severally by Kundra and Shetty, who are promoters of Viaan Industries.

Hungama 2 Actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra has a huge argument when the Crime Branch raided their home in connection with the pornography racket case, following which the actress broke down in tears saying she was unaware of her husband's actions, said Mumbai Police sources on Monday. Police informed that Shetty broke down in front of the cops and told them that Kundra had kept her in the dark about the content of the app and she did not know anything. They added that investigation has revealed that Kundra has a 'Plan B' ready to escape the investigation on the case.

A Mumbai court on Tuesday granted a last chance to actor Kangana Ranaut from not appearing in front of the court in a defamation case filed by Javed Akhtar. Kangana filed an exemption application stating that she is out of the country for shooting and cannot appear in front of the court. Javed Akhtar's legal team opposed this plea and sought a warrant against her. The court rejected Akhtar's request but also warned Kangana. The court told the lawyer of Kangana that today was the last exemption granted to her.
