Zaheer Khan joins Canada Super 60 as Vancouver Anchors co-owner.

Former Indian cricket stars Zaheer Khan and Yuvraj Singh are set to join forces in the Canada Super 60 League ahead of its second season. Zaheer Khan has taken on the role of co-owner of the Vancouver Anchors, one of the league’s leading franchises owned by Yuvraj Singh.

Both Zaheer and Yuvraj played key roles in India’s 2011 World Cup triumph. They will now begin a new chapter in cricket from Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium.

Canada Super 60 Chairman and Founder Abhishek Shah welcomed Zaheer Khan’s association with the league, saying the partnership will play an important role in promoting and developing cricket talent in Canada.

The second season of the Canada Super 60 will be held from September 29 to October 4 at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. Six teams will compete in a total of 24 matches.
