30 year old nurse charged with murder of 8 babies in UK held in custody

A 30 year old British nurse accused of killing eight babies and trying to kill another 10 was remanded in custody today after a brief video court appearance. Lucy Letby was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into deaths at the neonatal unit of the Countess of Chester Hospital, south of Liverpool. She has been arrested twice before in connection with the case, but released on bail pending further investigation. On September 5, 2025, at approximately 3:50 am, SPS responded to reports of shots fired in the 14300 block of 28 Avenue, Surrey. Upon arrival, members located numerous shell casings on 28 Avenue.
