B.C. reports 2,137 new COVID-19 cases and 9 deaths

B.C. is reporting 2,137 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 321,043 cases in the province.There are 30,515 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and 286,134 people who tested positive have recovered. Of the active cases, 990 COVID-positive individuals are in hospital and 141 are in intensive care. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says it doesn't appear that the fatal stabbing of a 32-year-old woman in Coquitlam was random. I-HIT says the woman was found suffering from stab wounds in a parking lot yesterday afternoon and died in hospital. Police have identified the victim as Ramina Shah of Maple Ridge.
