In a sharp attack on rebel MLAs amid the Maharashtra political crisis, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray on Monday claimed that 15 to 20 MLAs, who are with Eknath Shinde's rebel camp are in touch with Shiv Sena and have urged the party to bring them back to Mumbai from Guwahati.
He said that the rebel MLAs have sold themselves for lakhs and crores.

Amtrak train collides with dump truck, derails in Missouri
An air ambulance service official says at least eight helicopters are taking patients from the site of a passenger train that derailed in Missouri while traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago. Matt Daugherty, Lifeflight Eagle director of business development, said helicopters were responding from around the state, The Kansas City Star reported. Federal Govt. contributing almost 30 million dollars for the new Vancouver Art Gallery
The federal government is contributing almost 30 million dollars to help the new Vancouver Art Gallery become the first so-called passive house art gallery in North America. The low-energy building will receive $25 million in funds from Infrastructure Canada, while the Canadian Heritage Department will pitch in $4.3 million. The new gallery will be built a few blocks from the current building and is expected to be complete by 2027. The total cost for the gallery is expected to come in around 400 million dollars.

China to experience more rainfall-induced floods, damage: Forecast
Several parts of China will experience heavy rainfall and floods for the next few days, China's National Meteorological Center said on Monday after it renewed a yellow alert for rainstorms.
The torrential rainfalls in China which started on Sunday have induced floods in several parts of the country including Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality and Qingdao in East China's Shandong Province, Global Times reported.
China's National Meteorological Center has forecasted more heavy rain in the next few days. It said that across 13 areas including Southwest China's Chongqing, Sichuan and Guizhou
