Complete ban on videography for film promotion in Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib
Videography has been completely banned for film promotion in Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib. These orders have been given by Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Now no one will be allowed to do videography at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib for the promotion of their film. Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh said that it is a religious center and not a film promotion venue.
He said that if someone comes to the Darbar Sahib as a companion, he can bow down, but the films will not be promoted in the Darbar Sahib.

Premier Smith says Alberta plans to opt out of federal dental care plan by 2026
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says the province plans to opt out of the federal government's dental care plan by 2026.
In a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Smith says the program infringes on provincial jurisdiction.
She says in the meantime she wants to negotiate getting Alberta's share of the federal funding in order for the province to support dental care as it sees fit.
The $13-billion program began covering younger children and seniors in May and is being expanded to all those under 18 and people with disabilities.

CBI Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to CBI custody by the trial court for three days. The investigating agency arrested Kejriwal this morning after questioning him in Tihar jail last night.
Till now he was in the custody of ED in the liquor scam case. The CBI has taken Kejriwal into its custody after the High Court canceled the bail granted to him by the trial court while hearing the petition of the ED.

Ravi Parmar, the New Democrat member for Horgan's former Langford-Juan de Fuca riding, says he heard from the former premier today and was told he has thyroid cancer.

The Liberal government's changes to capital gains taxation came into effect Tuesday, despite significant pushback from business and physicians' groups.
Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland's spring budget proposed making two-thirds of capital gains the profit made on the sale of assets such as a secondary residence or stocks taxable, rather than one-half.
For individuals' capital gains of $250,000 or less, the inclusion rate would remain the same, at 50 per cent.

Arvind Kejriwal will remain in Tihar Jail for the time being
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will remain in Tihar Jail for the time being. The High Court on Tuesday refused to grant bail in the money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam.
The High Court held that the arguments were not properly presented, and therefore set aside the decision of the Rouse Avenue court.
In a strong comment, the high court said that looking at the trial court's decision, it appears that judgment was not exercised while granting bail to Kejriwal, the court should have given the ED adequate opportunity to argue.
