West Shore RCMP is seeking information from the public to identify a male suspect who was involved in an alleged assault against a woman at Thetis Lake Park in View Royal.
On August 12, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a woman on a trail within the park was approached by an unknown male who appeared from the bushes. During this interaction, the male grabbed the woman. The woman did not sustain any physical injuries and was able to get away safely.

The safety of community members at our parks is a priority. Although incidents like this are rare, they are concerning, and we ask that the public report suspicious activity right away so police can promptly respond.
