The Indian hockey team created history by defeating Spain 2-1 in the bronze medal match at the Paris Olympics today. This is the second time in a row that India has won the bronze medal in the Olympic hockey tournament. Earlier, Indian hockey team won this medal in Tokyo Olympics.

Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored both goals in this match for India. After this, the Indian defenders showed a strong game and did not give any chance to Spain to equalize. Harmanpreet scored the first goal in the 30th minute and the second in the 33rd minute. Both these goals were scored on penalty corners.

At the same time, the only goal by Spain was scored in the 18th minute by Mark Miralles on a penalty kick, after which Spain did not get a chance to score again, thus the fourth medal has come to India's account in the Paris Olympics. Earlier, three medals came in shooting.

Alberta premier defends charging most Albertans for COVID-19 vaccines

Her government will still pay for some, including for those who have compromised immune systems or are on social programs, to get shots. Smith says she thinks low vaccination rates for COVID-19 in Alberta last year are because the vaccine ``doesn't work particularly well.''
