Suspended Vancouver Police Officer Kalwinder Dosanjh Granted Bail Under 23 Strict Conditions

Suspended Vancouver Police officer Kalwinder Dosanjh has been granted bail under 23 strict conditions following his arrest in Surrey.

As part of the bail conditions, Dosanjh must regularly report to a bail supervisor with the Burnaby RCMP and is prohibited from leaving British Columbia without permission. His passport and other travel documents have also been surrendered.

Dosanjh has been ordered not to have any direct or indirect contact with 24 investors and five other individuals identified as being within the scope of the investigation. He is also prohibited from contacting any Vancouver Police Department employee.

In addition, Dosanjh cannot raise funds under the name of his charity, Kids Play Foundation.

Dosanjh faces a total of nine charges, including breach of trust, as well as one count each of fraud and theft related to his own charity, Kids Play Foundation. His lawyer has maintained that Dosanjh is innocent of all the allegations.
