MLA Sheetal Angural from Jalandhar of Punjab and MP Sushil Kumar Rinku have been provided Y Plus security by the central government. Both these politicians had recently joined the BJP.

Both the leaders are currently in New Delhi but the Home Ministry has sent security personnel to their homes. According to the sources, a total of 18 security personnel will be deployed for the security of Sushil Rinku and 11 security personnel for the security of Sheetal Angural.

It is said that the Punjab government had reduced the security of Rinku and Angural, in view of which both the leaders raised this issue before the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, after which the Home Ministry has increased their security.
