The Supreme Court addressed issues related to the ongoing farmers' agitation on the Punjab-Haryana border. A bench comprising Justice Surya Kant and Justice Ujjal Bhuiyan stated that farmers can directly approach the court with their suggestions or demands.

The court expressed concern over the deteriorating health of farmer leader Dallewal and directed the Punjab government to provide immediate medical assistance and ensure the availability of all necessary medical facilities without delay.

The bench instructed the Punjab government to avoid any laxity in handling Dallewal's health. Dallewal has been on a fast unto death for the past 23 days.
