Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar met Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday. According to reports, the demands of the farmers were discussed during this meeting.

It has been learned that the Punjab BJP will also hold a meeting in Chandigarh on January 15 to strategize on the MSP guarantee law for crops and other agricultural issues.

Meanwhile, the non-political United Kisan Morcha has announced that a group of 111 farmers will peacefully begin a fast unto death, wearing black robes, near the police barricade at the Khanauri border tomorrow. During this protest, the farmers will consume only water, and the fast will continue until the central government accepts their demands.
