Senior leader of Punjab Congress Sukhpal Singh Khaira is receiving death threats from gangsters.

Seeing this, Khaira has approached the Punjab-Haryana High Court. Khaira has filed an application in the court and said that he has been threatened with death by gangster Arsh Dalla, who is hiding in Canada.

Khaira has demanded the return of his licensed weapon from the government keeping in mind self-defense.

The High Court has issued a notice to the Punjab government in this case and sought its response and the next hearing has been fixed on February 14.
