The ongoing war between Israel and Hamas has entered its 19th day.

World Health Organization has said that 6 hospitals in Gaza had to be closed due to lack of fuel.

Of these, 1,000 people are on dialysis, while 130 are premature children.

If the condition does not improve, the patients may die in the ICU.

So far, a total of 54 trucks have reached Gaza with relief materials.

The problem is that none of them had fuel, but water has been sent along with medicines and food items.

Another 250 trucks will arrive this week, but it is not clear whether petrol and diesel will be sent in them.

Ministry of Health of Gaza said that between Monday and Tuesday, there were 47 airstrikes in Gaza.

As a result, 704 people were killed.

A key meeting of the UN Security Council was held on Tuesday in which UN chief Antonio Guterres said targeting civilians in the name of attacking Hamas is wrong.

The whole of Palestine cannot be punished for the mistake of one organization.

Meanwhile, Israel has said that the bodies of 784 people have been identified out of 1500 people killed in the attack on October 7.

The government has contacted their families.

Full details will be given later.

Court decision expected on injunction challenge to Alberta teachers’ back-to-work law

A judge in Edmonton is expected to rule Friday on whether to grant an injunction against an Alberta law that forced striking teachers back to work last fall. The request comes from the Alberta Teachers’ Association, which argues the province’s legislation ending the strike should be temporarily halted while the courts review its constitutionality. The issue was argued during a two-day hearing earlier this month. Association president Jason Schilling has said that if the court grants the injunction, the union would be in a legal position to resume strike action. He added that any decision t

Canada’s economy lost 84,000 jobs in February, pushing the national unemployment rate up by 0.2 percentage points to 6.7 per cent, according to new data released Friday by Statistics Canada.
