Delta Police responded to a call regarding shots fired at a home in the 7400 block of 116A St. in North Delta around 3:45 am December 1.

"Officers were dispatched immediately to the area and fortunately determined that no one had been injured in the home," says Cris Leykauf, spokesperson for Delta Police. Police secured the scene and began to collect evidence and canvas for witnesses and video.

The Real Time Intelligence Center was notified, as per the protocol to ensure police agencies throughout the Metro Vancouver area have up-to-date information on incidents of this nature.

Police believe this was a targeted incident.

Anyone who has information regarding this matter, including witnesses or anyone with dash cam who was in the area at this time, is urged to contact Delta Police at 604-946-4411.
