SGPC Rejects Resignation of Harjinder Singh Dhami

The executive committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has rejected the resignation of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami and has urged him to resume his duties as the Chief Sewadar of the SGPC immediately. This decision was made unanimously during an important meeting held in Chandigarh today, chaired by Senior Vice President of the SGPC, Raghujit Singh Virk.

It is important to note that Advocate Harjinder Singh, a four-time SGPC president, had resigned on moral grounds following criticism from the former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghveer Singh, regarding the removal of Giani Harpreet Singh as Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib in a social media post.
