Samyukt Kisan Morcha May Support Dallewal-Pandher Farmers' Movement

A meeting has been scheduled by the farmer leaders on January 18 to discuss the next steps in the struggle.

The ongoing farmers' movement led by the Dallewal and Pandher organizations on the Shambhu and Khanauri borders of Punjab-Haryana may receive support from the Samyukt Kisan Morcha.

A meeting was held today in Patran, Patiala, between the leaders of the three organizations to discuss the movement. It was decided that no leader would make statements against each other, and the movement would be fought jointly.

A meeting has been scheduled by the farmer leaders on January 18 to discuss the next steps in the struggle.

The meeting in Patran was attended by various leaders, including Samyukt representatives Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Balbir Singh Rajewal, and Dr. Darshan Pal. The decision to unite was made in light of the critical health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal.

Police Investigate Early Morning Shots Fired in South Surrey

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an early morning shooting that occurred in South Surrey. On September 5, 2025, at approximately 3:50 am, SPS responded to reports of shots fired in the 14300 block of 28 Avenue, Surrey. Upon arrival, members located numerous shell casings on 28 Avenue.
