A Toronto police officer who was critically injured after being shot during the execution of a search warrant at a North York apartment early Thursday has died in hospital. Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw confirmed that the fallen officer has been identified as 43-year-old Const. Marc Pinizzotto.
