Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is reaching Amritsar on Saturday in connection with the voting for the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab on June 1. This is his first visit to Punjab regarding Lok Sabha elections 2024.

After this, Rahul Gandhi will return to Punjab on May 29 and will campaign for state Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring and Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi in Ludhiana and Patiala. Around 1000 security personnel will be deployed to protect Rahul Gandhi during the rally in Amritsar. Apart from this, Rahul Gandhi's personal security will also be with him.
