Shiromani Akali Dal General Secretary and former Member of Parliament Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra has given indications of alliance with BJP.

He says that for Mission-2024, Akali Dal can think about a political alliance keeping the prosperity and progress of Punjab as the main focus. While talking to reporters, he termed the Congress-led India alliance as an opportunistic alliance and accused the state's Aam Aadmi Party government of deteriorating law and order in Punjab. Prof.

Chandumajra said that the cases of murder and extortion are increasing in the state and shooting incidents are happening day by day, the state government has proved to be a complete failure in maintaining law and order.
