Relations between Canada and India are expected to improve. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Mark Carney on his victory. He said in a social media post that he is eager to work with Prime Minister Mark Carney to strengthen the India-Canada partnership and create maximum opportunities for the people of both countries.
