Peel Regional Police homicide investigators are asking for the public’s help locating a second suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Brampton last summer.

In a news release, police say two men entered a residence near Castlemore Road and Humberwest Parkway on Aug. 19, 2025, where two people were shot. One victim died at the scene. The second person was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds and later released.

In October 2025, police arrested 24-year-old Dilpreet Singh of Brampton and charged him with first-degree murder. Investigators have now identified a second suspect as 29-year-old Manpreet Singh, who police say has no fixed address. He is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder and attempted murder with a firearm.

Police describe the suspect as about five feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, straight black hair, brown eyes, and a full beard. Police say he also has a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “Manna,” followed by a heart symbol and “Sukh.”

Investigators believe the suspect may be armed and dangerous and are advising the public not to approach him. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately. Information can also be provided to Peel Regional Police or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
