No plan to break supply and confidence agreement with Liberals: Jagmeet Singh

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh says that there are currently no plans to break the supply and confidence agreement with the Liberals.

He said if the NDP did so, dental care and other key issues included in the agreement with the Liberals would be delayed from implementation.

Jagmeet Singh said that the NDP will continue to put pressure on the government for things like dental care.

He said that their current focus is to force the government to implement the things for which the agreement was reached.

A debate has been held in the House of Commons today on the motion brought by the NDP on home heating.

Jagmeet Singh's party has demanded removal of GST on home heating and increased funding for the National Heat Pump Programme.

Abbotsford police have turned over an investigation into a death at a local hotel to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team. Police say officers were called to a report of suspicious circumstances at a hotel along Marshall Road near Clearbrook Road.
