The New Westminster Police Department is asking residents across the region, particularly in Surrey, to help locate 24-year-old Rajvir, who has been reported missing after he was last seen at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Police say the young man is known to spend time in Surrey and may be travelling on public transit.

Investigators describe Rajvir as 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slim build, dark brown hair, a beard, and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo on his left forearm. Officers are concerned for his well-being, noting that he may appear disoriented and could require immediate assistance.

Sergeant Andrew Leaver said the colder weather and early darkness increase the urgency of finding Rajvir and ensuring he is safe. Police are urging anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts to call 9-1-1 right away.

The appeal comes as Lower Mainland police agencies continue to highlight the importance of public involvement in missing-person investigations, which often rely on community tips to move quickly during the first critical hours.
