The Mohawk community of Kahnawake confirms its rail blockade south of Montreal is being dismantled.

The blockade went up more than three weeks ago to support Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs in British Columbia who are opposed to a natural gas pipeline crossing their territory.

CP Rail crews were out yesterday inspecting the commuter and freight rail line.
