Prime Minister Mark Carney made a strong statement regarding the ongoing trade war initiated by President Donald Trump. Speaking at a press conference in Ottawa following a cabinet committee meeting on Canada-US relations, Carney asserted that America is no longer a reliable partner, signaling a major shift in the relationship between the two countries.

Carney emphasized that Canada’s traditional partnership with the United States is over and that future Canadian governments will adopt a fundamentally different approach to relations with their southern neighbor.
