Man attacked near Richmond restaurant recovering from serious head wound

Richmond RCMP are seeking witnesses to an alleged assault early Saturday morning.

Police say they were called after a man was brought to a local area hospital with a serious head wound.

They say the man was allegedly attacked by a group of individuals in front of a restaurant (located at 5300 No. 3 Road).

Investigators say the attack appears to have been targeted and the suspects left in two vehicles.
