Aam Aadmi Party has made Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora its candidate from here, there is talk that if he wins from here, Arvind Kejriwal can go to Rajya Sabha in his place.

Only 49.07 percent voting was recorded in the Ludhiana West assembly seat of Punjab till 5 pm. This seat was won by Aam Aadmi Party's Gurpreet Gogi in 2022. However, he died some time ago, after which the by-election has been held here.

Aam Aadmi Party has made Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora its candidate from here, there is talk that if he wins from here, Arvind Kejriwal can go to Rajya Sabha in his place.

Former minister Bharat Bhushan is the candidate from Congress, who was the MLA from Ludhiana West in 2012 and 2017. Advocate Parupkar Singh Ghuman is contesting the election from Shiromani Akali Dal. BJP has given ticket to Jeevan Gupta, who has an RSS background, here.

Vancouver-area home sales up 1.2% in September, still below long-term trend

The Vancouver-area real estate board says September sales inched up from last year but remain well off long-term trends. Car and knife attack at UK synagogue on Yom Kippur kills 2 and injures 3
