NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh today launched a major attack on the Liberal Party led by Mark Carney. During the election campaign in Toronto, he said that the Liberals are not trustworthy at all.

Jagmeet Singh said that history is a witness to this that the Liberals do the right thing only when the New Democrats force them to do so.

Jagmeet Singh also said that he fears that if the Liberals come to power, they will make big cuts in the budget, which will revive the memory of the cuts made by the party in the 1990s.

During this, he also commented on the Palestinian and Jewish communities. He said that the people of Gaza have the same right to live in peace and security as the people of Israel and we fundamentally believe that this should be the case.

Nearly 16,000 Chinese EVs reach Canada against 49,000-vehicle quota

Nearly 16,000 Chinese electric vehicles have arrived in Canada so far this year under a trade agreement between Canada and China, putting imports at less than one-third of the 49,000-vehicle quota set for 2026. Edmonton Gurdwara Attack: Criminal Charges Laid Against 27-Year-Old Man

Edmonton police have laid several criminal charges against 27-year-old Austin Sim-Pelletier in connection with an Aug. 21 incident at Nanaksar Gurdwara Sahib. Bomb Threat Forces Emergency Landing of IndiGo Flight in Ahmedabad

An IndiGo flight from Lucknow to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, made an emergency landing at Ahmedabad airport on Thursday evening after receiving a bomb threat. Police said IndiGo flight 6E97 landed at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at around 5:45 p.m. local time. All 107 passengers and six crew members were safely evacuated, and no suspicious object was found on board. According to an airport police inspector, a crew member found a piece of paper with the word “bomb” written on it, prompting the emergency response.
