The hearing in the High Court on the bail plea of Arvind Kejriwal, who is in jail in the Delhi liquor scam case, has been postponed. Now the next hearing of this matter will be held on August 7 and till then Kejriwal will remain in Tihar Jail.

His lawyer said that the ED filed a fresh reply to the petition late last night, after which the court adjourned the matter till August 6.

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is losing weight continuously in jail.

He claimed that Kejriwal has lost about 8.5 kg of weight after his arrest and this could be a sign of a serious illness.

On the other hand, the Tihar Jail administration said that Kejriwal's weight has dropped by only two kg and his health is being monitored continuously.
