The New Westminster Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the search for missing person Surinderjit Mattu.

Mr. Mattu was last seen on October 27th at approximately 11:30pm in the Brow of the Hill neighbourhood of New Westminster. Mr. Mattu’s health care team is concerned for his well-being as he is without medicine he takes daily. Mr. Mattu is described as a 61 year old South Asian man with a medium build, standing approximately 5’9" tall, with a white beard.

"Mr. Mattu has been known to frequent sports fields in New Westminster and move through the city using public transit," stated Sergeant Justine Thom. "We’re asking for the public’s help in locating Mr. Mattu as soon as possible so we can ensure his well-being."

RCMP seek public’s help locating stolen truck carrying two peacocks west of Edmonton

Police in Alberta are asking for the public’s help after a truck carrying two peacocks was reported stolen west of Edmonton. According to the RCMP, a 2005 Ford F-350 was taken from the community of Stony Plain on Sunday. Officers say the birds were inside the vehicle at the time of the theft.
