Exit poll: Congress may win 6-8 seats in Punjab

The exit poll for the Punjab Lok Sabha elections 2024 was announced on Saturday.

According to exit poll predictions by ABP Cvoter, AAP is likely to get 3-5 seats and SAD is poised to get 0 seats. Meanwhile, it predicted 1-3 seats for BJP and 6-8 seats for Congress.

While Matrize and P MARQ predicted 1-4 seats for SAD and Two for others.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress had bagged eight of the 13 Lok Sabha seats with a voteshare of 40.12%. The SAD and the BJP, then fighting as allies, won two seats each with a vote share of 9.63 and 27.76%, respectively. The Aam Aadmi Party was decimated as it could win only the Sangrur seat, getting nearly 7.38% of the votes.
